Kimberly Ann Bowers was born January 6, 1962, in Portland, Oregon, the beloved daughter of the late Frank Henly Coppage and Bettye Jo Coppage. She was a woman of strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of sixty-four.
Kimberly honorably served six years in the United States Air Force Reserve, demonstrating her commitment, discipline, and love for her country. Her service reflected the strength and dedication that defined her life.
She was a member of Greater St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church of Portland, Oregon, where she served faithfully in their Virtual Service, building fund and tithing.
After the Air Force, she dedicated 23 years of service as an Accountant Tech III with Palmetto GBA. Known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, Kimberly took pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career. After more than two decades of dedicated service, she retired on March 1, 2024, closing a meaningful and accomplished chapter of her life.
Above all, Kimberly loved her family. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She was straight to the point, honest, and strong-minded, yet she loved extremely hard. Her love was fierce, protective, and unconditional — and it will remain with her family forever.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Kevin Williams, whose memory she carried with her always.
Kinberly is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Bowers Sr.; four children, Breana Green-Mack, Jerry Bowers Jr., Taylor Bowers, and Tyler Bowers; her cherished grandchildren, Zoe Williams, Zachary Williams, and Denim Williams; loving sisters, Kyla Lynn Coppage, Tarsha M.
